Tom is a member of The Florida Bar, and also a member of the the Florida Bar Business Law and Appellate Practice sections, the Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law section where he served as Chairperson for the 2021-2022 term, and the Recording Academy (the Grammy Awards) where he currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Florida Chapter. Other current or past memberships include the American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, the Seminole County Bar Association, the Seminole Inn of Court, the Florida Justice Association, and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association.

Tom has lectured at continuing legal education seminars for the Florida Justice Association, The Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section, the Nova Southeastern University Sports and Entertainment Law Symposium, and, for over fifteen years has been a panelist, sponsor, and host for the annual Florida Music Festival’s music industry conferences.  He also regularly guest-lectures at Barry Law School, the University of Central Florida, and Full Sail University.

Tom plays bass guitar and did so professionally for many years.  He attributes his experiences as a professional musician to giving him considerable insight into the music business and an appreciation of the industry from the musician’s perspective.

Tom is also an American Taekwondo Association certified instructor, a third degree black belt, three-time Florida State Champion (2012, 2013, 2015), and 2013 and 2015 top-ten World Championship competitor.
